Designed for soy and vegetable waxes, our TCR series wick is a core flat braided wick, with an outer jacket that provides a high degree of rigidity, made from pure ring-spun cotton and long strand paper. It provides an excellent combustion profile with vegetable based waxes such as soy wax and rapeseed wax. The TCR series offers reduced afterglow, smoke and soot. Self-trick wick position that minimizes or eliminates carbon. (growing explosively). The constant flame ensures that glass containers on one side do not overheat and that pillars do not ‘tunnel’ or leak out of the side of the candle. Our wicks are supplied pre-cut to 120mm, pre-washed and come with a 15mm metal support.
What wick type do you need?
Whether you use a mold or a container, you need to measure the diameter of your candle. As an example, if your candle is 45 mm in diameter wide, then you need a TCR 21/12. If your candle is 75 mm wide, you can choose between TCR 27/16 or TCR 30/18.

This size chart is a rough guideline – different waxes, scents and colors all affect the moisture transport of the candle. Trial and error is the only way to guarantee correct wicking.
