This Coconut Shea Butter Soap recipe is super easy to make. Coconut oil is well-known for its hydrating properties, while shea butter is rich in vitamins and minerals that help to soothe and protect the skin. The soap creates a creamy lather that gently cleanses without stripping away the skin’s natural oils, leaving it feeling soft and moisturized.

Ingredients

  • 6 cubes Shea Butter Melt and Pour Soap Base
  • 15 drops of Coconut Soap Fragrance
  • 1 soap mold

Instructions

  • In a microwaveable bowl, add your cubes of shea butter soap base. Microwave on high for 30 seconds. Microwave for an additional 10 seconds and check to see if it’s melted. Repeat for another 10 seconds until it’s melted. Stir.
  • Add in drops of Coconut Soap Fragrance and stir. Carefully pour into the soap mold. Let sit for 40 minutes to an hour before attempting to remove it. You can also add soap colorant if desired.

  • After you’ve poured your soap mixture into the mold, let it sit on your counter for about 40 minutes to an hour. To remove, carefully push on the bottom of the mold until the soap releases.

  • We used two rows of the melt-and-pour soap base to make these four soaps. It depends on how big your soap mold is if you need less or more of the soap base.
