Origin: Eastern Europe
Description: The laurel tree is originally from Asia Minor but has long been established in the Mediterranean. it is an evergreen shrub or tree that can reach a height of up to 15 meters. The bay laurel has leathery, glossy leaves and small cream-yellow flowers and dark purple berries.
Extraction: Bay laurel oil is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves and twigs.
Applications: Aromatherapy applications, perfume industry for men perfumes.
Properties: Strong analgesic, strongly expectorant, virucidal, strongly antispasmodic, unclogging on the lymphatic system, neurotonic regulating and anti-rheumatic.
