Lemon And Green Tea Soap Recipe
This Lemon Green Tea Soap recipe makes bars that are beneficial to maintaining healthy youthful skin. It is also a great DIY soap to make for fighting acne.
Ingredients
- 650 g melt & pour glycerin soap
- 2 tbsp matcha green tea powder
- ¾ teaspoon lemon essential oil
- Square soap mold
Instructions
Step 1: Chop the soap into small cubes (around 1,2 cm), and place in a microwave-safe bowl (a batter bowl with a handle is ideal)
Step 2: Microwave on high for 30 seconds. Stir and repeat in 15-20 second intervals until soap is melted.
Step 3: As soon as you remove the bowl from the microwave stir in the green tea powder and the lemon essential oil.
Step 4: Gently pour into your square soap mold. Allow cooling fully. They will now be hard and are ready to remove from the mold.
Step 5: To maintain scent, store in airtight packaging until use.
