Cream of Tartar powder

Tartar, or Cream of Tartar, is great to have when making bath bombs, bath foam in solid form or bath truffles. It helps stabilize products, adds volume and gives them a uniform texture.

Tartar

Tartar is also called potassium hydrogen tartrate or Cream of Tartar. Cream of tartar is a natural ingredient used in some cosmetic formulas such as effervescent balls and bath cookies. In bubble bars, tartar acts as a stabilizer, allowing the rest of the ingredients to stick together.

Shelf life: 2 years

Directions for use: Use in 3 to 5 percent by weight in bath bombs, bath bomb icing and bath truffles.
