Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil

The old botanical synonym for the tree[Cinnamomum zeylanicum] is derived from Sri Lanka’s former name, Ceylon. Cinnamomum Verum trees are 10 to 15 meters tall. The leaves are oval-elongated in shape, 7 to 18 cm (2.75 to 7.1 in) long. The flowers, arranged in panicles, are greenish in color and have a distinct scent. Modern cinnamon leaf essential oil is native to Indonesia, but it is also grown in Sri Lanka and India. The rust-colored tree has glossy, leathery green leaves and small white flowers with oval purple berries. Its unique sweet and spicy scent makes it a great fragrance for almost any occasion.
