Brazilian Yellow Sol Bum Original 62 Bodybutter Recipe

This luxurious body butter is an ode to the sun. Inspired by the addictively delicious scent of Brazilian Yellow Sol Bum Original 62 – a combination of roasted nuts, creamy vanilla and a hint of tropical caramel. The butter is rich, nourishing and melts on contact with the skin. Perfect for after showering or on dry areas that could use some extra love.

Ingredients (for 250 ml)

Instructions

1. Melt the cupuaçu butter and coconut oil au bain-marie until everything is completely liquid.
2. Remove from the heat and add the squalane. Allow to cool to about 40-45°C.
3. Now add the tapioca starch and fragrance oil and mix well.
4. Place the mixture in the refrigerator until firm but still beatable (30-60 minutes).
5. Beat the mixture lightly with a hand mixer until a smooth, creamy texture forms.
6. Scoop the body butter into a clean 250 ml jar and label with product name, fragrance and production date.
