Kombucha Probiotic Soap Recipe

Probiotics are not only for our intestines, but also our skin and hair can benefit from this miracle. This soap gently cleanses your skin and refreshes our microbiota with kombucha,

Ingredients

• Sweet almond oil 110 gr
• Babassu Oil 130 gr
• Coconut oil 130 gr
• Fragrance oil 11 gr
• Rosebuds to taste
• Lye 61 gr
• Citric acid 4 gr
• Water 183 gr
• Kombucha tea 50 gr

Instructions

Combine all the oils (except the fragrance oil) in a suitable bowl and mix. The coconut oil should be liquid at room temperature, if your house is a bit cool you may be able to use help from the microwave or a double boiler.

Measure out 10 gr of water to make citric acid solution, use the rest of the water to make lye solution. Slowly add lye into the water cup to prevent overheating. Use protective gloves and goggles to avoid unwanted results.

Slowly add the lye solution to the oil bowl while mixing with a hand blender. Add the fragrance oil and then the citric acid solution and kombucha tea.

Put the entire soap contents in a mold and sprinkle rosebuds on top.
