- 30 gr of coconut oil
- 10 gr Sweet almond oil
- 20 gr Carnauba wax
- 20 drops of Lavender essential oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Honey* (optional)
- 15 tubes Empty lip balm sticks
How to makeDIY coconut oil lavender lip balm
- Remove the lids from the lip balm tubes and secure them upright with a large rubber band.
- Measure out the coconut oil, sweet almond oil and carnauba wax and pour into a saucepan
- Turn the heat to low-medium-high and let the oils and wax melt completely.
- Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the honey (if using), and your favorite essential oils.
- Pour the mixture into the upright tubes
- Let the lip balm set and then seal the sticks.
- This recipe will fill 15 lip balm tubes.
Store your homemade lip balm out of direct sunlight. These products have a shelf life of 1 to 2 years when stored at room temperature.
