Gingerbread Soap Recipe

Nothing beats the smell of freshly baked gingerbread in your home. With these adorable Gingerbread Man soaps, you’ll bring that cozy winter feeling right into your bathroom. This DIY recipe is deliciously simple, super fun to make and perfect as a gift during the holidays. With a hint of warm gingerbread scent, cheerful details and a beautiful bronze color, these soaps are guaranteed to be a festive eye-catcher. Time to get started!

  1. Cut 100 grams of White Melt & Pour Soap Base into small, even cubes. Place them in a heatproof bowl and melt in the microwave in short intervals of 5-10 seconds.
  2. Spray the mold with 99% isopropyl alcohol – this helps the soap to flow well into the details. Working quickly and carefully, use a pipette to fill in the face details and contours of the gingerbread man. Use a toothpick to smooth out any mistakes.
Does the soap cool too much? Reheat in the microwave in 3-5 second intervals.
Tip: Keep spraying alcohol in between to remove air bubbles and keep the soap flowing well.
  3. Cut 500 grams of Transparent Melt & Pour Soap Base into small cubes. Melt again in the microwave in 5-10 second intervals.
Pour about 100 grams of the melted soap into a separate bowl. Add a small amount of zeni color Vin Rouge and stir until you have a vibrant red color.
  4. Spray the mold again with 99% isopropyl alcohol and use pipettes to fill the male’s buttons with the red soap. Then spray alcohol again to remove air bubbles.
  5. Add a little zenicolor Chocolate to the remaining melted soap and stir until you have a rich bronze color. If necessary, you can reheat the soap briefly in 5-second intervals.
  6. Then stir in 8.5 grams of Gingerbread Cookie Fragrance Oil and 8.5 grams of Vanilla Color Stabilizer.
Note: The Vanilla Color Stabilizer prevents discoloration from soaking into the white and red details.
  7. Make sure the brown soap has a temperature of about 54°C. If the soap is too hot, the details may melt.
  8. Spray each cavity of the mold with alcohol and carefully pour in the brown soap. Spray again with alcohol to remove air bubbles.

Let the soap cool and harden for 3-4 hours. Remove from the mold and enjoy your creation!
