PIF Composing

With our PIF service we ensure that your separate documents are merged into one complete, structured and compliant PIF according to EU Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009. You can use this service if all information is present. If you do not have all the documentation, please choose Cosmetic Product Information File – PIF and CPSR.

What does the PIF composing service entail?

We take the components you provide – such as ingredient lists, test results, safety reports or GMP statements – and check them for completeness, consistency and legal compliance. We then prepare a complete PIF in the appropriate format, ready for inspection by the competent authorities.

What documentation is required for the PIF?

To put together a complete and compliant PIF for you, we need all relevant parts of the documentation. This includes:

• Full ingredient list (INCI) with exact percentages per ingredient
• Specifications of raw materials: TDS, SDS, COA and any allergen data.
• Toxicological data of the substances used (if available)
• Microbiological test results, such as total germ count or challenge test
• Stability tests and shelf life data (such as Accelerated Stability Test or PAO statement)
• Production process description and proof of GMP compliance (e.g. ISO 22716 certificate or statement)
• Label design and label information, including claims, warnings, batch numbering and best-before dates
• Substantiation of claims if any, e.g., for moisturizing, nurturing or anti-age properties
• Packaging information and compatibility data
• Safety Assessment (CPSR).
• Non-animal testing statement.
