- 120 grams of coconut oil
- 10 grams of beeswax
- 10 grams of cocoa butter
- 10 grams of olive oil
- 240 grams of aloe vera gel
- 10 drops of peppermint essential oil
How to make DIY after sun lotion
- Add the coconut oil, beeswax, cocoa butter and olive oil to a double boiler. Melt over medium heat.
- Remove from the heat and allow the mixture to cool. It will harden slightly, but should not be firm. This will take a few hours. You can put the bowl in the refrigerator to speed up the process.
- Slowly add the aloe vera gel while mixing with a hand mixer.
- Add essential oil and keep mixing until the aloe vera gel is completely mixed with the oils and wax.
- Store in an airtight jar.
