This Caramel Latte Macchiato candle is a candle inspired by the delicious coffee drink of the same name. It is a scented candle that mimics the scent of a Caramel Latte Macchiato when you light it. The candle is made of fragrant wax, such as soy wax, and contains a blend of fragrance oils with those the aromas of caramel, coffee and milk.
The candle is poured into a glass container and usually has a wick that you can light to light the candle. After lighting, the warm and cozy scent of a Caramel Latte Macchiato will spread in the room where the candle burns.
Caramel Latte Macchiato candles are popular for their delicious scent, reminiscent of enjoying a cup of hot coffee with a hint of sweet caramel. They can be used to create a relaxing atmosphere in your home, office or any other space where you want to enjoy the fragrance.
STEP 1: Preparation
Place the wick glue dot at the bottom of the metal base of your wick. Stick the wick on the bottom of the candle glass, making sure it is centered.
STEP 2: Melting
Pour water into a double boiler or pan until it is about half full and bring to a boil. Then place a bowl for the wax in the pan of water and keep it on low heat. Pour your weighed wax into the bowl and let it melt, stirring frequently. You can also use a microwave to melt the wax. Heat the wax for 30 seconds in a microwave-approved bowl, then stir. Repeat until the desired temperature is reached. When the melted wax has reached a temperature of 70 °C, remove the bowl from the pan/microwave.
STEP 3: Add
Use a thermometer to make sure the wax is at least 65°C before adding your chosen fragrance oil. Stir the wax well so that the fragrance is mixed with the wax. After this, add the brown or cream candle dye and stir well again.
STEP 4: Casting
Pour the wax at about 60-65 °C. Pour the wax carefully and slowly to avoid air bubbles. Make sure the wick is tight and upright. Allow the wax to harden for 60 minutes. Repeat steps 3 and 4 with another color to create the layers as in the example image.
STEP 5: Making whipped wax for candles
To whip candle wax, melt the wax together with the white candle dye and let it cool. It then becomes opaque and begins to build up along the sides of your pan. Once the wax has reached this stage, begin whipping it until it forms peaks that hold their shape. It is a process very similar to making real whipped cream. You can use a hand mixer, whisk or basically any other similar tool to whip up. Then put the wax in the piping bag.
Once the wax is in the bag, start spraying around the wick in the center of the candle. Work toward the edges of the holder, moving the tip in a concentric circle. To create a peak of whipped cream, repeat this motion two or three more times, making smaller and smaller concentric circles on top of the rings you just made.
To finish it off, you can pour a little brown candle wax over it.
STEP 6: Enjoy your candle
Allow the candle to set for several days. Finally, cut the wick of your candle to 1 cm above the candle.
