Ingredients
- White casting soap base – 1 kg
- Zenicolor Solo Vin Rouge Dye
- Zenicolor Solo Vin Rouge Dye
- Aloe Vera pouring soap base – 1 kg
- Silicone column mold with big heart
- Mini heart silicone column mold
- Dove fragrance oil
- Silicone cake mold measuring 25.5 cm
Additional: pasteur pipette, spatula
Instructions
- Chop 925 grams of aloe vera pouring soap into small, even pieces. Put them in a large heatproof container. Melt in the microwave for 30-60 seconds. Split 125 grams into a separate container and add zeni color Solo Passion. Stir until the color is melted and incorporated.
- Place the mini heart mold in a tall container so that it stays upright. Pour the pink soap into the mold and set aside. To the remaining melted soap, add zeni color Vin Rouge and stir until fully incorporated.
- Stir 50 grams of Dove Fragrance Oil into the soap. Carefully pour the red/purple soap into the large heart silicone column mold. Place the mold against a wall so that it stays upright. Allow to cool completely and do not move the mold – this takes about 3 hours.
- When both heart embeds have cooled completely, remove them from the molds. If necessary, clean the embeds with a sharp knife. Cut the embeds lengthwise to fit into the cake pan.
- Chop 700 grams of white pouring soap base into small, even pieces. Put them in a heatproof container. Melt in the microwave. Stir 40 grams of Dove Fragrance Oil into the soap.
- Place the large purple heart in the cake mold, drizzle with alcohol and pour the melted white soap into the mold until the purple soap is just covered. Drizzle with alcohol to remove air bubbles. Let cool for about 5-10 minutes.
- Once the soap in the mold has cooled slightly and formed a skin, reheat the white soap in the microwave with bursts of 5-10 seconds. Drizzle the soap in the mold with alcohol and pour the remaining white soap into the mold until it is almost completely full. Put the pink heart soap in the mold and sprinkle with alcohol to remove air bubbles.
- Allow the soap to cool and cure completely for 4-5 hours or up to overnight. Unmold and cut into pieces. Have fun!
