How to make Bakuchiol Facial Cream
- In a small, heatproof container, mix Phase A – 260 grams of distilled water and 20 grams of glycerin. In a separate heatproof container, mix Phase B – 40 grams of apricot kernel oil and 32 grams of emulsifying wax.
- Heat both Phase A and Phase B – you can do this in the microwave or by filling a pan with about an inch of water and placing the heat-resistant containers in the water over medium-high heat.
- Once Phase B is completely melted and Phase A is about the same temperature, pour Phase A with Phase B and mix with a stick to emulsify. Set aside to cool.
- Combine Phase C – 20 grams of distilled water and 8 grams of DL Panthenol. Mix until the DL Panthenol is completely dissolved. Once the A/B misture has cooled to about 100 degrees F, pour Phase C into the mixture and mix with a stick until combined.
- Add 12 grams of bakuchi oil, 4 grams of Optiphen and 4 grams of vitamin E. Stir to combine.
- Pour or spoon the mixture into jars and allow to cool completely. Enjoy!
