With products with a high water content, such as liquid soap or lotion, the Bursting Beads absorb liquid and swell after a few days. When applied to the skin, they release oil onto the skin and disintegrate.
In dry or oil-based products, such as scrub or on top of cold process soap, the granules remain dry. They have a similar texture to jojoba beads.
