Use in cosmetics, shampoo, liquid and solid soap

  • Cosmetics (creams, lotions, serums): Take a small amount of the product and dilute it with an equal amount of distilled water. Dip the strip into the mixture and compare the color with the index. Check that the pH is appropriate (usually between 4.5 and 7).
  • Shampoo and liquid soap: Dilute a small amount of shampoo or liquid soap with distilled water in a 1:1 ratio. Dip the test strip into the solution and compare the color to the index. Check that the pH is within the recommended range (usually 5 to 7).
  • Solid soap: Grate about 1 gram of soap and dissolve it in 10-15 ml of distilled water. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature, then dip the test strip into the solution. Compare the color with the index. The pH of solid soap is usually between 9 and 10.

Tips for accurate measurements

Always use clean and dry containers to avoid contamination. Use distilled water to dilute so that pH will not be affected. Make sure the test strip is not left in the liquid for too long to avoid inaccurate results.

With these pH test strips, you can easily and reliably check the pH level of your products to create safe and skin-friendly formulas.
