How to make Caribbean coconut whipped soap
Start by combining the foaming bath butter, coconut oil and vitamin E oil in a large bowl. You can add the fragrance oil if you like, but I usually whisk these ingredients first and then mix in the fragrance. That way I don’t lose any of it at the bottom of the bowl because it is a very thin liquid.
Beat ingredients with an electric mixer until fluffy, like frosting.
Add the fragrance oil (if you haven’t already) and keep whisking until all ingredients are well combined. The foaming bath butter has a fairly strong soap scent, so I usually use a heavier dose of perfume to cover the scent when I work with it.
Scoop the soap mixture into sealed jars for storage. You want something with a good seal so the smell doesn’t dissipate.
Put in the shower or at the sink and enjoy! To use, gently massage onto damp skin and rinse with water. If you make this recipe for a gift, give it a fun label to finish it off!
