- Pour the Sodium Hydroxide into the water and stir until dissolved.
- Let cool to 37 degrees Celsius. If the oils or lye water do not cool at the same rate, use a cold water bath in the sink.
- When both the lye water and oils are at the proper temperature, pour the lye water with the oils and mix with a hand or stick blender until a medium trail (trace) forms.
- Add essential oil and pink clay and mix well.
- Pour into the mold.
- Use a spatula to gently make a wave pattern on the top of the soap.
- Decorate the soap with the cranberry seeds and rosebuds.
- Allow the soap to harden for 24 hours.
- Remove the soap from the mold and cut the soap into pieces.
- Allow the cut soap to cure for 4-6 weeks in a cool, non-damp place.
